Math Contests

The University of Waterloo (CEMC) will be organizing Math contests once again. Howe Sound students will be given challenging math problems and compete with students from around the world. There are 3 contests, one aimed at each grade level and they are designed to push students to their limits and inspire anyone interested in math or computer science.  See https://www.cemc.uwaterloo.ca/contests/pcf.html for more information.

Cayley – Grade 10        written late February      register by mid February 

Fermat – Grade 11       written late February       register by mid February 

Euclid – Grade 12  Registration deadline early March           (contest written early April)
