Musical Theatre: Theatre Students Gear up for High School Musical 2!
Excitement is in the air as our talented theatre students prepare to bring Disney’s High School Musical 2 to life on stage! After months of auditions, rehearsals, and set design, the cast and crew are ready to transport audiences to the summertime fun of East High.
Under the guidance of teachers Ms. Booth, Ms. Johnson and Ms. Putnam, students have been working tirelessly to perfect their performances, choreography, and musical numbers. This production is a true team effort, with actors, dancers, and backstage crew all coming together to create an unforgettable show.

Drama:
Drama and Directing and Scriptwriting courses run in semester one and semester two. Students explore theatre history, acting techniques, and explore technical areas of performance production. Classes have the opportunity to see performances. Performances put on by the Drama classes in the January and June showcases are not to be missed!
January Showcase: Thursday, January 16, 7pm
June Showcase: Wednesday, June 11, 7pm
Dance Team:
Senior Dance Team runs at Howe Sound Secondary on Tuesdays at lunch in A108. Dance team performs at school and community events.
Music:
Our jazz ensemble rehearse on Tuesdays at 7:30 am and Thursdays at 3:30 pm. Students are having a great time working on new tunes and meeting all the new members. The two sections of concert band have been busy refreshing their musical skills in class.
