HSS Food Services

Turnip the Beet Café serves delicious and nutritious vegetarian and non-vegetarian entrees, as well as sides and desserts. Students and staff can come to the cafe at the beginning of lunch to purchase their food options while supplies last. The daily menu will be posted outside the cafe and on the daily announcements.

All our containers, utensils, and napkins are biodegradable – please dispose of them in the green compost bins.

 

Our Food and Community Leadership classes and our Student Council Club are running a breakfast program every morning, serving free breakfast items and snacks before classes start. The main goal of this program is to build community through sharing food. We hope to achieve this while minimizing food waste and minimizing stigma around food insecurity.
