New Process for S2 Course Changes: We are implementing an online-only process for course changes at HSS, effective for semester 2. All course change requests must be submitted through designated online forms between January 15–January 22 (closes at 4 PM). Changes will be processed on a priority basis, starting with Grade 12 students.
In-person appointments for course changes are no longer available. Submit your request using the appropriate link:
- Grades 10-12 (Last Name A-L): Change Request Form A-L
- Grades 10-12 (Last Name M-Z): Change Request Form M-Z
There will be no student-booked course change appointments. Instead, counselors will review student requests using the Google Form. Course change requests will be only considered on:
- Graduation requirements
- Balance (a mix of academic and elective courses each semester)
- Post-secondary required courses
Our timetable is very tight, with little room for movement. Making a course change will impact your schedule, and may result in the loss of a preferred elective. Not all course change requests will be possible. We cannot make changes to student schedules based on the following:
- Teacher requests
- Friend requests
